Conglomerate

2017

For over a year I walked along the New Jersey coastline, mainly in the Gateway National Recreation Area collecting plastic trash and styrofoam that had washed up along the shore. The process of walking and collecting was meditative. Even though the material is insidious, I was drawn to how water and natural elements had worn away at the surface of the styrofoam.
