2015
Starting at sunrise I started out by photographing a blank sheet of photo paper on my studio wall facing a window. I then printed the photograph, replaced the blank paper with the new photograph and then photographed the subsequent print. I repeated the process until sunset. There are several iterations of this piece realized on different days and locations throughout the year. Changes in the weather, shifts in light, the color of the clothes I was wearing resulted in wildly divergent images. This particular piece was realized on a winter’s day with snow on the ground. The sky, snow, and fragments of myself are all captured and enfolded into the photographs.
